‘Jeopardy!’ Fans in Uproar Over Show Host

The producers behind the popular quiz show “Jeopardy!” announced a host scheduling change — and received mixed reviews from fans.

On the latest episode of the “Inside Jeopardy!” podcast, producer Sarah Foss announced the upcoming host schedule for the show.

However, once again, fans were unhappy with the news. According to Foss, Ken Jennings will resume his role as host on March 10th, and will continue until April 28th, after which Mayim Bialik will take over on May 1st and host the show through the summer.

“Ken Jennings will be back on March 10, and then, he’s going to continue the rest of his syndicated run, which will take us through April 28,” Foss said. “And then, Mayim will take over on May 1, and she will take us all the way through to the summer.”

Currently, Bialik is the host of the High School Reunion Tournament on Jeopardy!. Although Bialik has her own set of supporters, it appears that Jennings has a larger following among fans. It is worth noting that both Jennings and Bialik were rotating hosts on the show, taking over from former executive producer Mike Richards.

The announcement that Bialik would continue hosting after Jennings’ brief return did not go over well with many fans, and their discontent was clear. Numerous angry fans expressed their dissatisfaction with the decision.

“Can we for the love of god just have Mayim host Celebrity Jeopardy! One of the contestants even admitted that her pacing and the way she reads the clues is just plain bad. There’s literally no reason why she should be hosting syndicated J!” one fan wrote.

Another viewer questioned the show’s motive for keeping two hosts.

“Why are they so hellbent on keeping Mayim on the regular syndicated show?? She has absolutely no chemistry whatsoever with regular contestants.”

“Great! I’ll put it in my calendar for when I can resume watching @Jeopardy again,” someone else wrote.
