After enduring captivity for four years in a mobile home, a woman in Texas was finally rescued.
As reported by KTRK, on Wednesday night, firefighters used power tools to cut through bars on a mobile home and save a woman who alleged that she had been held captive there for almost four years.
Harris County officials have arrested and charged Abraham Bravo Segura, 42, with kidnapping.
At a court hearing held on Thursday, a prosecutor revealed that all the exits to the mobile home were blocked, and burglar bars had been installed on all the windows.
“The defendant had kept the complainant inside a trailer for approximately four years,” the prosecutor said.
