ISIS Supporter Arrested For Plot to Kill On St. Patty’s Day

Federal prosecutors announced on Friday a man from New York, who showed his support for the Islamic State on the internet, has been accused of planning to murder police officers.

He is also being accused of making threats to kill a mayor on the same street where a local St. Patrick’s Day parade was scheduled to take place.

The Justice Department reported he was apprehended and indicted for creating threatening interstate communications.

Ridon Kola is 32 years old.

Over a span of multiple months, Kola made various online posts that expressed his support for the terrorist group and included threats against the Yonkers Police Department.

In particular, in connection with the city’s parade that is scheduled for Saturday.
