President Joe Biden tripped and fell on stage at the Air Force graduation because of black sandbags on the stage floor.
After Biden shook the hands of more than 900 graduates, the president turned to head back to his seat and started to motion as if he was going to jog.
He got up quickly thanks to a few handlers at his side, and walked back to his seat.
Biden also delivered the academy’s commencement speech, which was held at Falcon Stadium in Colorado Springs.
During his remarks, he praised the graduates for choosing “service over self.”
White House Communications Director Ben LaBolt tweeted that Biden is “fine” and said a sandbag on the stage was the cause of the fall.
Biden announced in April that he will be seeking a second term in 2024 as president – he is the oldest U.S. president in history.
