Teen Girl Missing Found in Marine Barracks, Was ‘Sold,’ Says Aunt

A Marine was detained last month after a missing 14-year-old girl was found in the barracks of a California base.

Deputies responded to the grandmother’s home that day to take a missing person report and enter the information into the missing person’s databases.

The teen was found in an unusual location inside the barracks at the Marine Corps base north of San Diego on June 28.

It is unclear how long the teenager stayed at the barracks and if she was seen by other Marines who reported her presence.

Federal law enforcement officials said they are investigating. They briefly questioned a Marine with the Combat Logistics Battalion 5, 1st Marine Logistics Group.

That was the same day that Casaundra Perez, who identified herself as the 14-year-old’s aunt, posted a TikTok video.

The video claims her niece was raped at the Marine barracks and was “sold to a service member for sex.”

“(The military is) trying to cover it up and place the majority of the blame on her. However, the reality is the whole facility allowed this to happen,” Perez says in the video.

She did not provide any evidence to corroborate her claims.
