Woman Missing One Week Was Stuck In State Park

Stoughton police said Monday that a woman reported missing for a week was found safe in a Massachusetts State Park.

Emma Tetewsky, 31, of Stoughton, was last seen by her family on Sunday before traveling to Borderland State Park.

She was believed to still be in the area because she did not have access to a car and her cellphone was not with her.

Hikers in the park heard Tetewsky screaming for help in a swamp-like area.

Unfortunately, they were unable to reach her by foot and reached out to the police for help.

“Three police officers entered the water and waded through thick brush and swamp until they located a woman approximately 50 feet out from land,” Easton police wrote in a news release. “

“They were able to reach her and carry her back to land where Easton Firefighters were able to render aid.”
