After an ongoing feud with his neighbor, a man from China went on covert missions to retaliate.
However, he was eventually apprehended and convicted of his crimes.
A man was sentenced to prison this week after going into court, where they found him guilty.
The incident happened after the man, reported by his surname Gu, was having a feud with his neighbor, Zhong.
Gu committed several acts of disorderly conduct, which included cutting down some of his trees without permission in April last year, CNN reported.
One of the last straws was when Gu scared his chickens to death.
