McDonald’s is well known for it’s kid friendly restaurants, but we’re not so sure about the ones in Kentucky after hearing this.
The well known fast food joint is being slapped with fines by the US Government, who is accusing them of allowing underage children to work until 2 am.
The McDonald’s franchise in Kentucky has three franchises that will be fined.
The minors prepared food, processed orders, cleaned, and managed the drive-thru window.
“Investigators also determined two 10-year-old children were employed – but not paid – and sometimes worked as late as 2 am,” according to the feds.
The fines total $39,711, who Bauer Food LLC will pay.
