Teen Arrested on Capital Murder Charges After Killing Entire Family

An 18-year-old teen was detained for capital murder charges in the fatal shootings of his parents, sister, and brother in Nash, Texas.

Police responding to a distress call found the suspect, Cesar Olalde, barricaded inside a residence where multiple fatalities were reported.

Olalde later admitted to the crime during a phone call with the police, stating that he had shot his family.

The victims’ bodies were discovered in a bathroom, showing signs of being shot in different areas of the house and dragged to the bathroom.

Law enforcement found several spent cartridge casings and blood spatter throughout the residence.

According to an affidavit, Olalde allegedly claimed that he killed his family because he believed they were cannibals and planning to harm him.

Olalde is currently held on $10 million bond, and his defense attorney has yet to comment on the case.
